we have some celebrating to do! All of Hudson’s tests (neck/head scan, and chest x-ray) came back showing nothing! NOTHING!! Praise the Lord! Thank you so much for all of your concerns and prayers, it was an emotional week for us, and we are so glad that our little man is healthy. We have a follow-up appointment in a month, so keep Hudson in your prayers! Our God is good, so very good!

just a day in the park

taking advantage of the beautiful SoCal weather!

God is in control.

This morning at 8:30, Hudson will have a CT scan to check for Horners Syndrome. We noticed about a month ago that his left eye was dilating more than his right eye in certain dim light situations. We took him into his eye doctor, and he said his vision was perfect, but we needed to rule out this syndrome. An unequal pupil could mean that something else is causing it to dilate differently. After googling this (which no one should really do) we were left with a lot of questions, the scariest part is the ‘tumor’ word that gets thrown around quite a bit.

I’m going to be honest here it scares the sh*t out of me, but after having had a couple of days to let it all sink in, I am trusting in my Heavenly Father, who already has Hudson’s life planned out perfectly, and because of this I am at peace.

Please pray for Hudson that he will be able to lay still, for Bryan (who is the one taking him), for myself who can’t be there, and for results that will help us figure out what the problem is.

He is risen. He is risen indeed.

Hudson had his first big modeling job! For Chaps Ralph Lauren (fall campaign). It was a blast! The shoot was at this amazing home in Malibu!

it has been hot hot hot! So for a treat I took Hudson to get some frozen yogurt, and as you can see he loved every minute of it!

The love tree.

Bryan surprised me on valentines day with this pepper tree for our front yard, we are calling it the Love tree. Hudson, I took pictures of it so that someday when it is fully grown you can look back on it and see how small it (and you) were.

For Hudson’s first haircut I took him to my hairstylist Liz. As you can see he had a blast!

New shoes! (and a new post..)

I know it’s been far too long since the last post, if you’re keeping track Hudson is now 17 months old! It’s been cold here so some sheepskin boots were in order and Hudson agrees (he won’t take them off!)

Hudson is a big helper, he loves to join in and help us in whatever we are doing….

Vroom.Vroom

Hudson loves the vacuum cleaner, he has loved since he was quite little, he also likes to clean! (let’s hope this never goes away!) This is Hudson the other day, helping Bryan vacuum.

I also found this in a catalog the other day: a mini dyson that actually works! Good thing Christmas is right around the corner, and at $29.95 it might be the only Dyson we will ever own..

Superhero Sasquatch
